Sunday Services

Under 5s are really welcome in our Sunday meetings!  There’s a carpeted area with colouring activities and toys on the front left of the hall, where parents are welcome to bring young children during the first part of the meeting.

During our Sunday meetings, we also have a parent-led crèche area in the café just off the main school hall.  There are also usually comfy seats to use if you’re nursing.

We are working on having the message piped out here so you can still hear the message if it’s easier for you to be out there with young children!

Tea/coffee, water/squash, biscuits, toys, books and craft materials are available.

Encouraging Discipleship at Home

We encourage families to access a range of resources to bring life to the full in their families.

The Kitchen Table Project encourages conversations to nurture faith at home.  Why not take a look and sign up for regular inspiration?www.kitchentable.org.uk

Faith at Home is a free online resource from Premier Youth and Children’s Work to encourage faith in your family.

Life is full of twists and turns.  We’d love to support you on your journey, whatever life is throwing at your right now.  We want to be there to offer practical help so you and your family can flourish!

In the past, HCC has run:

  • Marriage preparation courses

  • Parenting workshops

  • Pastoral support for families, particularly when a crisis hits.

We’re always interested in new ideas in nurturing families, so if you need someone to help you out, please get in touch with Jon and we’ll see what we can do!
